Our Commitment
AllHealth UK is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to achieve this.
Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. We have not had an independent audit, so this is a statement of what we have built and tested ourselves, not a certification. If you find something that does not work, telling us is the fastest way to get it fixed.
Measures We Take
- Every colour pair was checked before it shipped. Body text is at least 4.5:1 against its background in both themes, and control borders at least 3:1 (SC 1.4.3, 1.4.11).
- A single high-contrast focus ring, visible on every interactive element, at 13.7:1 (SC 2.4.7).
- Clickable targets are at least 24 by 24 CSS pixels (SC 2.5.8).
- The symptom search is a proper combobox: arrow keys move through results, Enter opens one, Escape closes it (SC 2.1.1).
- Every page works with JavaScript switched off — the HTML is generated at build time, not in your browser.
- Nothing on the site animates content into view. If you have reduced motion turned on, remaining transitions are switched off (SC 2.3.3).
- Text is 16px on mobile and 18px on larger screens, and scales when you zoom. Wide tables scroll inside their own box so the page never scrolls sideways (SC 1.4.10).
- A skip-to-content link, one h1 per page, and headings in order.
